The total damage was estimated at several million US dollars. The second stage involved evidence gathering to confirm the financial and emotional interests of the defendants. The investigation revealed their common previous jobs, as well as legal entities registered in the name of the relatives, with illicit financial flows. The results were sent to the FAS Commission.
